This is a work that was created while on a recent trip to the National Museum of American Illustration in Newport, Rhode Island. I photographed the original image of a yacht that was a past contender for the America�s Cup, while boating just outside the main harbor. I took the image back to my studio in Carverton PA. and perfected the project there. The work was completed digitally and the final gallery image was and is printed on canvas. This image has sold several times and recently took a 1st.Place award in the Fall members show of the Wyoming Valley Art League of NE Pa.The Judge for the exhibit was the international known Trompe L'Oeil Artist Michael Molnar.
